The film is an official remake of the Korean movie Montage. It catches speed in the second half making it intriguing for the viewers. The narration is slow paced in the first half and is pale. The background score is pretty average and the music also is passable. Will officer Sarita and Father Martin be able to trace the culprit? The story unfolds as Officer Sarita takes help from Father Martin for this Kidnapping case and they begin the investigation. The case in-charge is Officer Sarita Sarkar ( Vidya Balan).Īngela’s kidnapping case was handled by Father Martin ( Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who was a former cop. Eight years later, a similar kidnapping case emerges and is handed over to the police. The thriller narrates the saddening tale of how an old man does not lose hope and tries to dig old graves to get clues and evidences regarding the kidnapping case. Plot: The movie revolves around John Biswas’s ( Amitabh Bachchan) struggle of finding the kidnaper of his granddaughter Angela, who was abducted 8 years ago. There is no smooth passage in the transitions from past to present. Negative Points: There are several dry moments in the first half of the film and it is dragged to length.
